Recycle of life and death has been a characteristic of the Buddhism of the Thai people. Such belief is consistent with the Law of Karma which is the core of morality and ethical system. Thai people are always conscious about this life and next life. The suffering and happiness in this life is the result of merits and sins committed from the past life. Those who make merits will go to the Tavatimsa heaven and can recollect their past lives when they stand under the mythical Parichat tree.

This Pavilion of Recallection has been built for the people to spend a moment recalling their past deeds and thinking about making merits in order to be born again in a better status in their next life.
